On December 12, 2023, Alberta released an update regarding the status of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) inventory. The latest information revealed approximately 3,232 applications for the Alberta Opportunity Stream, 1,087 for the Rural Renewal Stream, and 832 across various pathways within the Express Entry stream (including Family Connection and In-Demand Occupation Streams, Dedicated Healthcare Pathway, Priority Sectors, and Accelerated Tech Pathway). Furthermore, two new draws took place on November 21 and December 5, 2023, wherein 11 and 19 candidates from the healthcare sector were invited, respectively. In total, this year, Alberta extended invitations to 3,549 candidates across all AAIP streams.
