On July 12th, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted the latest round of Express Entry invitations. In this draw, a total of 3,800 candidates received invitations under a French language category. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for this draw was 375.
On July 11, IRCC conducted an all-program draw and invited 800 candidates. The minimum CRS score for this draw was 505, which is lower than the previous week’s draw of 511 but higher than the three category-based selection invitations. In the previous week, between July 4-7, IRCC held draws on four consecutive days. On July 4, an unexpected all-program draw took place, inviting 700 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 511, the highest requirement for an all-program draw in 2023 so far.
On July 5, the anticipated first-ever round of invitations was issued to candidates with work experience in select science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) occupations. IRCC invited 500 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 486. The third draw, which occurred on July 6, targeted healthcare professionals, and 1,500 candidates received ITAs with a cut-off CRS score of 463 in a category-based selection draw.
Lastly, on July 7, IRCC issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to 2,300 candidates who demonstrated strong French-speaking abilities, and the minimum CRS score required was 439.
