To qualify under this stream, candidates must be living in Ontario and have a valid work permit. They must also have an Express Entry profile with at least one year of full-time Canadian work experience. Once a person receives a Notification of interest, they have 45 calendar days to apply for the provincial nomination. After all, Express Entry candidates with a PNP nomination get 600 CRS points for their score. Therefore, they qualify to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
To sum up, the Express Entry system is the most popular pathway to immigrate to Canada. It manages permanent residence applications via three main economic-class immigration programs:
- Federal Skilled Worker
- Federal Skilled Trades Stream
- Canadian Experience Class
Overall, if you qualify under any of these programs, you can create an Express Entry profile. There you need to update your documents and complete the information to get your CRS score.
As it is a based score system, candidates with the highest scores will receive an Invitation to Apply to complete their PR application.
