How to Apply for a Super Visa?

Applicants have to do it from outside Canada. Firstly, the Super Visa process is similar to the regular TRV process. However, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) need to verify that grandparents are parents will be supported during their visit to Canada. To prove it, applicants need to include a signed letter from their Canadian family member to promise financial support during the visit. Also, they need medical insurance of a minimum of CAD 100,000 from a Canadian insurance company. On the other hand, the family member in Canada needs to prove their citizenship or permanent residency status with valid documentation and include a list of the people in their household.Keep in mind that the medical insurance must be valid for at least 12 months from entry to Canada and has to be fully paid before to be accurate. Immigration officers will verify the applicant’s ties to their home country. It includes the purpose of the visit, family and personal finances. Candidates must demonstrate that they will leave the country at the end of their authorized stay.

Immigration for Grandparents and Parents

The Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) allows Canadians to bring and sponsor their loved ones for immigration. This year, 30,000 PGP applicants will be chosen by a lottery.
